10th December is the birthday of Human Rights. We can't teach a critical thought without looking around, watching our world, learning about our duties and our rights. To celebrate such an important event we read the Declaration of Human Rights and then the students chose the article they preferred to make a little poster about it.

We also watched this video about immigration  "When you don't exist". A video showing an alternative reality’ where Europeans are the ones undertaking a dangerous journey to reach Africa, only to be detained at immigration centres and be refused entrance at the border. It was made by Amnesty International in 2012.
